Content Gaps

AI-powered gap detection from contact conversations

Content Gaps analysis identifies questions your contacts ask that your documentation doesn't answer well. Use it to prioritize what to write next.

How It Works

  1. Goldilocks analyzes real contact conversations
  2. AI detects questions that lacked good retrieval
  3. Gap cards are generated with suggested topics
  4. Each gap shows sample questions and priority
  5. Create articles with one click from suggestions

Running Analysis

  1. Go to My Help Center > Content Gaps
  2. Click Run Analysis
  3. Analysis uses Smart Assists credits (see Usage)
  4. Results appear as gap cards within minutes

Gap Cards

Each gap card shows:

Creating Articles from Gaps

  1. Open a gap card
  2. Click Create Article
  3. A new article is created with AI-generated draft
  4. Review, edit, and publish

Priority Levels

  • High - Frequent questions; address first
  • Medium - Occasional questions; plan for next sprint
  • Low - Rare; consider only if quick to add

Best Practices

  • Run analysis regularly (weekly or monthly)
  • Start with high-priority gaps
  • Use sample questions to shape article structure
  • Combine related gaps into a single article when appropriate
