Quality Center

Monitor content health, manage approvals, and detect contradictions

The Quality Center consolidates all content quality tools in one place. Access it at Train > Quality to monitor health issues, review pending approvals, and detect contradictory information.

Accessing Quality Center

  1. Navigate to Train in the sidebar
  2. Click Quality in the sub-navigation (or find the link in the Train page header)

Overview

The Quality Center page shows summary cards at the top:

  • Issues - Content needing attention
  • Pending Approvals - Items awaiting review (admin only)
  • Contradictions - Conflicting information detected
  • Last Scan - When contradiction detection last ran

Content Health

The Content Health section identifies potential issues with your knowledge base:

Issue Types

Addressing Issues

For each issue:

  1. Click on the affected content
  2. Review and update as needed
  3. Consider reorganizing or removing if not useful

Regular content health reviews improve AI response quality.

Approvals Queue

Admin and Owner only

When content requires approval before going live, it appears here:

Review Process

  1. View pending content in the queue
  2. Click to review the full content
  3. Approve to make it active
  4. Reject to decline (with optional feedback)
  5. Edit to modify before approving

Approval Settings

Configure who can approve content in Settings > Security:

  • Require approval for new documents
  • Require approval for FAQs
  • Require approval for imported websites

Contradiction Detection

Contradictions occur when your knowledge base contains conflicting information. The AI scans for these automatically.

How It Works

  1. AI analyzes your content for statements that contradict each other
  2. Potential contradictions are flagged for review
  3. You decide which version is correct
  4. The incorrect content is updated or removed

Reviewing Contradictions

Each contradiction shows:

  • Source A - First piece of content
  • Source B - Conflicting content
  • Conflict Summary - What's contradictory

To resolve:

  1. Review both sources
  2. Click Keep A or Keep B to mark the correct version
  3. Edit the incorrect content or mark it as draft
  4. Click Resolve to clear the contradiction

Running a Scan

To manually trigger contradiction detection:

  1. Click Run Scan in the Contradiction panel
  2. Wait for analysis to complete
  3. Review any new contradictions found

Usage Limits

Contradiction scanning uses AI processing. Check the usage indicator to see:

  • Scans used this period
  • Scans remaining
  • Reset date

Best Practices

Regular Reviews

Schedule quality reviews:

  • Weekly: Check for new issues and pending approvals
  • Monthly: Run contradiction scans
  • Quarterly: Deep content audit

Prioritize High-Impact Issues

Focus on issues affecting:

  • Frequently retrieved content
  • Customer-facing information
  • Time-sensitive policies

Maintain Single Source of Truth

When resolving contradictions:

  • Choose the authoritative source
  • Update or remove duplicates
  • Document where information lives

Use Folders for Organization

Well-organized content has fewer quality issues:

  • Group related content together
  • Apply consistent naming
  • Regular folder reviews
