Quick Start Guide

Get your AI support agent up and running in 5 minutes

Welcome to Goldilocks! This guide will help you set up your AI-powered support agent quickly.

Step 1: Add Your First Document

Your AI agent needs content to learn from. Start by adding a simple document:

  1. Navigate to Train in the sidebar
  2. Click Add Document
  3. Enter a title (e.g., "Return Policy")
  4. Paste your content or type it directly
  5. Click Save

Start with your most frequently asked questions. Your AI will use this content to answer customer queries.

Step 2: Create Your First FAQ

FAQs give your AI precise answers to common questions:

  1. Go to Train > FAQs
  2. Click Add FAQ
  3. Enter the question customers typically ask
  4. Provide a clear, helpful answer
  5. Click Save

Step 3: Configure Your Persona

Personas define how your AI agent communicates:

  1. Go to AI Agents > Personas
  2. Click on your default persona (or create a new one)
  3. Set the tone (friendly, professional, etc.)
  4. Add any custom instructions specific to your business
  5. Click Save

Step 4: Test Your Agent

Before going live, test your AI:

  1. Go to Train > Search
  2. Type a question your customers might ask
  3. Review the response and the sources it used
  4. Adjust your content if needed

Step 5: Deploy the Widget

Add the chat widget to your website:

  1. Go to Widget > Embed
  2. Copy the embed code
  3. Paste it before the closing </body> tag on your website
  4. Your AI agent is now live!
